A Castor to Peterborough Pilgrimage – 28th May

On Sunday the 28th of  May, The Rev Stephen Benoy, the new Canon Missioner at the Cathedral undertook ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ pilgrimage through the diocese from Brackley on the 17th May, in the far south west to Peterborough. He completed his walk on the 28th of May from Nassington to Peterborough to begin, calling in at Castor to meet with 25 local folk who joined him for the last 6.5 miles to the Cathedral, almost wholly off road. A mapped leaflet of the route has being published. The group enjoyed a picnic in Castor before departing along St Andrew’s Jitty about 14.00 and arrived at the Cathedral about six o’clock to be met by the Dean and Assistant Dean. A coach brought the pilgrims back to Castor. A very successful event – thanks to all those participants and contributors.
